Monitors

Monitors check critical details for your webpages, including changes to pages, DNS status, and SSL certificate expiration. Banno Monitor also provides a record of these changes, including screen shots of issues.

You can choose which aspects of your webpages you'd like to monitor, and how often you want Banno Monitor to check those aspects. We recommend that you check the integrity of your site content at least once per hour, and that you check DNS and SSL certificates at least once per day. Banno Monitor allows you to create service monitors that complete checks as often as once every five minutes. Use your discretion to find a Banno Monitor schedule that works for your financial institution.

Note: Monitor only scans the domain in the URL you specify when setting up a new monitor. To monitor any other sub-domains, you'll want to create a new monitor for each domain.
  • Creating a monitor
    Make sure that you have at least one user group created under Users & Groups > Group list before completing this process.
  • Editing a monitor
    In Banno Monitor, you can edit a monitor.
  • Deleting a monitor
    In Banno Monitor, you can delete a monitor.
  • Email alerts
    When creating a service monitor, you designate a group to notify by email if an incident occurs.
  • Monitor incidents
    An alert is logged any time Banno Monitor discovers an issue.
