Online banking username association

You can configure your tracking code so it associates users with their online banking usernames.

If a user doesn't use online banking credentials when they first visit your website, their information appears under a guest identity until they log on. You can choose whether to associate online banking usernames with your users when you configure your tracking code.

If you want to associate online banking usernames with user information, you'll need to have the following ready to go when you set up your tracking code:

  • HTML element ID for your online banking logon form
  • Input element name for the username field on your online banking website

When a user submits their information through your online banking logon form, Marketing receives the username.

Note: This process sends only the username to Marketing. Marketing does not receive passwords or any other field information from your logon form.
