Wires

Organizations can use Wires in Banno Online to create and initiate domestic wire transfers so that recipients are paid quickly and securely by electronic payment.

Using Wires, organization users can:

  • View wires
  • Create domestic, one-time wires
  • Create wire templates
  • Review and initiate wires
Note: Banno does not currently support international wire transfers.

Access Wires

Depending on your access to payment entitlements, you can access Wires using one of the following methods:

  • Select Wires from the menu.
  • Select Payments > Wires from the menu.

Fees

The financial institution (FI) sets wire transfer fees in NetTeller Back Office. Fees display as separate transactions from the wires and are withdrawn from the same account wiring the funds. Refer to NetTeller documentation for additional information.

Cut-off times and parameters

The FI sets cut-off times and processing parameters in NetTeller Back Office. Cut-off times do not display in Banno Online.

  • Wires dashboard
    Wires are separated by the account wiring the funds. For each account, wires appear in the Active, History, or Templates tab, depending on the wire's status.
  • Creating a one-time wire or wire template
    Organization users can create a domestic, one-time wire transfer in Banno Online Wires. Users can also save a wire's details as a template, and templates can be used to set recurring wire transfers.
  • Initiating a one-time wire
    Using Wires in Banno Online, you can initiate a domestic, one-time wire transfer from a Ready wire on the Active tab or from a wire template.
  • Initiating a recurring wire
    Using Wires in Banno Online, you can initiate a domestic, recurring wire transfer from a wire template.
  • Editing a wire or wire template
    Using Wires in Banno Online, you can edit or delete a wire with a Ready or Active status from the Wire details screen.
