Security

On an end user's Security screen, you can manage access to and information about your end user's devices and accounts.

On this screen, you can:

  • View the end user's account status
  • Verify an end user's identity
  • Reset an end user's two-factor authentication
  • View and remove an end user's devices
  • Call-in verification
    To verify an end user's identity, you can send a verification code to them through an SMS message or an email.
  • User devices
    Go to the end user's Security page to view their registered devices. You can also remove app access to individual devices or all devices at once.
  • Resetting 2-step verification
    Use these instructions to reset 2-step verification for your end users.
  • Sending a password reset link
    If you are an institution with Banno Online, you can send password reset links to any customers with password issues.
  • Restrict user access
    There may be occasions when you want to restrict a user's access to your app and online banking. For example, if a user is a victim of fraud or if their phone is stolen, you want to restrict access to the app.
