Adding an account for external transfers

With Banno Mobile, end users can make transfers to and from external accounts added to the app.

  1. Select Transfers from the main menu.
  2. Select Transfer to other institutions by adding an external transfer account.
    The External transfers screen appears.
  3. Select + Add external account.
  4. Choose a situation and follow the corresponding steps.
    Situation Steps
    Your institution uses multifactor security questions (MFA) to authenticate users. When prompted for the security question, answer it and select Submit.
    Your institution uses two-factor authentication. When prompted for your password, enter it and select Submit.
  5. Complete the Account name, Routing #, Account #, and Account type fields on the Add external account screen.
  6. Select Submit.
    If the account is eligible to send inbound transfers to accounts in Banno Mobile, the app presents a message saying that two small deposits have been sent to the account and will arrive in 3-5 days.
  7. Select OK.
  8. Verify your deposit amounts to activate external transfers.
