Time

Selecting or dragging the Time option onto your form in the form builder places an input area where users can enter time information.

Label
The field label should typically be the information you want to gather or the question you're wanting to have answered.
Description
Provides a more detailed explanation of the field, including additional context for end users or instructions about how to complete the field.
Required?
Indicate if the field will be required for users to submit the form. Selecting the box indicates required, and clearing the box indicates not required.
From
Specify the earliest time that end users can enter within the time range.
To
Specify the latest time that end users can enter within the time range.

Validation

The Time field has built-in validation to help prevent invalid responses. When an end user submits information into a Time field, the form performs the following checks automatically before the form is submitted.

Situation Automatic form responses
The end user submits a response with any format other than HH:MM AM/PM. The following error message appears: Value ’s format must match HH:MM AM/PM.
The end user attempts to submit a disallowed date.
  • If the end user selects the time selection tool, the form only presents time options within the range specified in the form builder.
  • If the end user types a disallowed time manually, the form sets the time automatically to the nearest allowable time.
