Setting up email alerts

Use these instructions to choose who gets email alerts when Banno Monitor discovers an incident. You'll set up email alerts when creating or editing a service monitor.

Make sure that you have at least one user group created under Users & Groups > Group list before completing this process.
  1. Choose one of the following options to open a monitor, and follow the corresponding steps.
    Situation Steps
    Edit an existing service monitor.
    1. Select Monitoring.
    2. Select an existing monitor.
    3. Select Ellipses icon to open the menu.
    4. Select Edit.
    Create a service monitor.
    1. Select Monitoring.
    2. Select Setup new monitor.
  2. After configuring the other form options, if applicable, select a group beneath Who should be notified?.
  3. Select Create or Update to complete the process.
