Managing assets

You can download, upload, enter alternative text, and delete marketing assets.

  1. Within the Banno Platform, access Ellipses > Assets.
The Assets screen shows a list of all uploaded assets.
Tip: Toggle between list view and grid view by selecting Toggle view style in the upper right corner next to Upload files.
  2. Select an asset name to show its details (uploaded by, updated date, size, download, upload, alternative text).
  3. Choose a situation and follow the corresponding steps.
    Situation Steps
Download Select Download to save a copy to your device.
    Upload a new version
    1. Select Upload a new version to find a file to replace your current asset.
    2. Browse files on your device and select the replacement file.
    3. Select Open.
    Enter alternative text
    1. In the Alternative text field, enter text describing the image.

Setting a value in the Alternative text field sets the alt attribute everywhere the image is place.

Note: The Description field must include fewer than 100 characters.
Tip: For compliance with ADA guidelines, all assets must include a description. The Description field allows any text to be entered, but it is important to describe either what you see in the image or a brief description of what the asset itself is (for example: "person on park bench holding mobile phone"). The description text cannot duplicate the file name. For example, if a file name is checkmark.jpg, the description cannot read “checkmark." The description text cannot include a color.
    Delete
    1. Select Delete.
    2. Confirm your decision by selecting Delete again.
  4. After changing assets, select Save changes.
