Editing page properties

Your site is ever-evolving, and Banno Content offers the ability to update your individual page properties over time as page title, URL, SEO, and other page adjustments are needed.

  1. On the Pages screen, click the title of the page that you want to edit.
  2. Select "" Page properties.

  3. Adjust page properties as needed.
    Page title
    Adjust the page title to the name you'd like displayed on the website.
    Tip: For best results and compliance with ADA best practices, make sure that no two pages have the same page title when updating pages within Banno Content. For example, you cannot have two Checking pages. Alter one or both pages to Personal Checking or Business Checking so screen readers can tell the difference between the pages and their content.
    Category
    Select the category that best describes the page.
    Visibility
    Select the visibility option that best fits the page.
    URL
    Format the URL how you'd like it to read on the website. To update, select Change. This option opens the URL field to make edits.
    • Option 1: Type the exact URL you'd like to use on the website.
    • Option 2: Select Reset to default URL to automatically generate the URL based on the chosen Page title and Category.
    • When the URL has been updated, you can create a redirect. Toggle the Create redirect switch On to redirect any links from the previous page location to the new URL.
    Hide page from site search
    Determine if you'd like the page hidden from site search by toggling Hide page from site search On and Off.
    Note: Selecting this option keeps the webpage on the public website but removes it from site search, so users can only access it through a direct link.
    Search engine optimization
    Update title tags, descriptions, and keywords for the page.
    Header & footer code
    Use the Header and Footer fields to enter header or footer codes into the webpage by pasting the HTML in the applicable fields.
    Banno Monitorâ„¢
    If it applies, select the Show Banno Monitor badge check box.
  4. When done making edits, select Finished.
    The panel closes and the page editor appears.
  5. Select Save in the menu at the top of the screen to save changes.
