Unlocking users

After five failed password attempts, a user is locked out of the system. Another user with access to manage Users & Groups must then complete the unlock process.

  1. Above your profile image in the lower left corner, select Ellipses > Users & Groups.
  2. Select User list in the Settings navigation to view a list of all users for your institution.
    Tip: Use Search to find users by entering a name or email address and use filtering options to narrow results by group.
  3. Select the user who you want to unlock.
  4. Select Unlock.
    A success message appears at the bottom of the screen confirming that the end user is unlocked and can log on to the Banno Platform.
