Restricting user access to Banno Mobile

Whether you want to reduce the risk of fraud, your user has a stolen device, or some other reason, you can turn off key actions for an end user to prevent access and money movement.

  1. Select Users, and search for a user.
  2. Select the desired user.
  3. Select Permissions.
  4. Select the toggle in the Remote deposit capture section to remove access to remote deposit capture.
  5. Select the toggles in the Payments section to remove access to bill pay.
  6. In the Transfers section, select all applicable toggles to remove access to transfers.
    • Member - Restricts member-to-member transfers for a credit union account.
    • Outbound external transfers - Restricts access to transfers from the primary institution's account to an external account.
    • Inbound external transfers - Restricts access to transfers to the primary institution's account from an external account.
  7. Select Security in the top navigation.
  8. Select Remove all devices in the Devices section.
The selected user now has to use their online banking credentials to log on to the app, and they cannot access remote deposit capture, transfers, or bill pay if they log on again.
