Invite an organization user
Organization administrators must invite new organization users and users with a Pending status to create their user name and password so that they can log in to Banno.
There are two ways to invite an organization user:
- When you create a user, select Send an email invite.
- In the user's profile, select Invite.
When you invite a user, Banno sends an email to the user with a link that takes the organization user to the app enrollment screen to create their user name and password. The user has up to seven days to enroll in the Banno Digital Platform before the link expires. Once the user creates their login credentials, they can log in to Banno.
Note: If an organization administrator sends multiple email invites to the same
user, the organization user must use the most recent email to join. If the user selects an
older or expired link, Banno displays the message Invitation link
failed.
CAUTION:
Only select the link once. If the organization user selects the link twice
or refreshes the page, they receive an error message, and the organization administrator must
send a new invite email.
