Manage assets

Several methods exist in Banno Content to view and sort your list of stored assets.

  • Select Assets to view a list of all assets, listed by most recently updated.
  • Search by file name to filter the list by name.
  • Select Grid icon Toggle view style to switch from the list view to the grid view.
  • Use Filter by type to sort assets by system-set options such as PDFs, images, and text files.
  • Use Filter by tag to sort by the custom-created and managed tags for your website that help you categorize stored assets.
Tip: Filter by type and Filter by tag selections can be stacked, helping you narrow search results. For example, if you select a PDF type and a Security tag, a list is returned of all PDF assets tagged Security. Alternately, if you want to view all assets that are tagged Security, you would first select All assets then select only the Security tag (do not select Type). This filters all assets with the selected tag.

Asset number

There is no limit on the number of assets that you can upload.

File type and size considerations

For best results, use these guidelines when uploading files:

  • Files over 50 MB cannot be loaded to Assets.
  • It is recommended that all image files be saved for web to reduce file size and load time on your website. As a practice, image files should be under 1 MB.

CAUTION:
Microsoft® Word and Microsoft® Excel® are not recommended file types for text, because users have varying software versions and access to these tools.
