Users

The User list allows you to manage individual users who need access to your Banno apps and permissions.

On the Users screen, you can search for administrative users, view user profiles, and invite new people to access the Banno platform.

Note: Before adding users, you'll want to have at least one group created in the Groups area.
  • Adding new users
    Your institution can grant individual user access and assign users to groups with various permissions, as needed. If a user is a member of two or more groups, they are entitled with the permission of each of those groups.
  • Managing user profiles and permissions
    Users & Groups makes it easy to adjust user profiles and settings as your institution's user needs change over time.
  • Managing approval settings
    Setting a proper approval hierarchy is an important part of content management. Managing the approval process in Banno Settings is easy.
  • Unlocking users
    After five failed password attempts, a user is locked out of the system. Another user with access to manage Users & Groups must then complete the unlock process.
