Making member-to-member transfers (PowerOn)

If your credit union has this feature enabled, your end users can make and manage member-to-member transfers in Banno.

  1. Choose where you'd like to start from.
    • Select the Banno main menu.
    • Locate the quick-actions section of the Banno dashboard.
  2. Select Member transfer.
The Member transfer screen appears with options to send money to other members, a list of previously saved members, and a list of any Scheduled transfers.
  3. Choose an option.
    • If you have saved members you want to make a transfer to, select them from the list that appears in theSend money to another member section. Choosing this option autopopulates the member's saved information in the transfer form.
Tip: To delete a member from your list, select Delete.
    • If you do not have a saved member you want to transfer to, select + New member transfer.
  4. If you aren't using a saved member, complete the Member name field by inputting the first three letters of the member's last name.
  5. If you aren't using a saved member, complete the Member #, Type (Savings, Checking, or Loan), and optional Share # fields before selecting Next.
Select Save for future use if you want to keep the member's information in your list on the Member transfer screen for easier access in the future. Then, create a nickname to help you recognize the account in the future.
  6. Select the From account, and input the Amount for the transfer.
  7. Select the Frequency (Once, Weekly, Every two weeks, Twice a month, or Monthly).
  8. If desired, change the Date field from the Soonest available default by selecting the field and choosing from the date picker.
  9. If making an immediate, internal transfer, you can input a note in the optional Memo field.
  10. Select Review and transfer.
  11. Review the information presented and choose an option.
    • Select Edit to go back and adjust transfer details.
    • Select Submit to confirm transfer.
  12. Select Done.
If the transfer is successful, you see a success message. If the system is in maintenance mode, you receive a message that the changes could be delayed.
