Email alerts

When creating a service monitor, you designate a group to notify by email if an incident occurs.

Banno Monitor selects these group options from the configured groups under Users & Groups > Groups. When you select a group for alerts when creating or editing a service monitor, each individual in the group receives an email if the monitor detects an issue. Several different alert types notify your group of potential threats to your site.

Alert Types
Alert Type Alert Message
DNS change DNS has changed.
DNS expiration DNS is about to expire or has already expired.
SSL certificate change SSL cert has changed.
SSL certificate expiration SSL is about to expire or has already expired.
HTTP status Web response status changed.
Untrusted URL Untrusted URLs were detected.
No SSL Unable to detect SSL.
Image change Contents of an image file changed.
HTML change Contents of a HTML file changed.
CSS change Contents of a CSS file changed.
Javascript change Contents of a JavaScript file changed.
