Configuring PSCU card transactions (Credit unions only)

Credit Unions who have PSCU credit cards or PSCU In-House credit cards (sometimes labeled as Non-FSCC CU cards) can use the Third party loans section in Banno People's Settings area to manage their PSCU settings for Banno Mobile and Online.

Before you can enter your PSCU information in Banno People, you must have these requirements met:
  • Identify which external loan record houses your credit card information so you can enter it in Banno People.
  • The PSCU settings ability must be turned on for your Credit Union for this feature to function. See next paragraph for more details.

Before a CU can enable this feature, the jXchange endpoints that are called must be turned on by jXchange for the correct Service Gateway user credentials. Open a jSource case with the jXchange Implementations Internal Request provider group to have CrCardAcctInq and CrCardTrnHistSrch turned on. They may need you to provide your credit union's jX username so that they know which account needs the messages turned on. This information could come from a previous jX install case if Jack Henry previously requested setup for ENS and/or Synergy, or it may need to be obtained from the Banno database where encrypted credentials are stored (symx_connection_config in postgres-jabberwocky).

  1. Select Settings in the Banno People menu, and then select Third party loans.
  2. Enter External Loan Record Types.
Only numbers 1 through 8 are allowed in this field. When entering accounts, separate each account by a comma with no space (for example: 1,3).
  3. When finished, select Save.
If the process is successful, you see a message stating Successfully saved PCSU settings. If the process fails, you see a message stating There was a problem saving PCSU settings.
