Monitors and scans
Banno Monitor runs scans to track changes made to your webpages.
You can determine what scans Banno Monitor will run by creating monitors. The monitor you create defines the type of information requested from your website during the scan. If a monitor detects a change in the information during a scan, it creates an issue for you to acknowledge. When you have unacknowledged issues, the number of alerts appears next to the monitor name on the Monitoring screen.
You can create monitors to perform the following tasks:
- Scan all site content
- Scan an entire page from the starting page
- Scan a specific page
- Compare all site content
- Compare a live webpage with a hidden control page
- Check DNS
- Check SSL
