Unlocking an external transfer account

The Reset option on the Accounts screen allows you to unlock an end user's external transfer accounts.

To reset an external transfer account, you must belong to a group which has the Manage external transfers permission enabled in Banno Settings > Groups > [Group name] > People.
When an end user attempts to add an external transfer account, they have three chances to enter micro-deposit verification information before new micro deposits are sent. If the end user fails to confirm the microdeposit amounts after 10 sets of microdeposits are sent, the account becomes locked and must be reset.
  1. Search for and select an end user.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. In the External transfer accounts section, find the account that shows a Locked out message.
  4. Select Reset next to the account.
