Removing content area from a shared group

You can remove a content area from a shared group, converting the space back to a standard content area.

Use this task to change content in the current space independently from other spaces sharing the content group.
  1. Within the editor, on the page that you'd like to update, select the content area that you wish to modify.
    Once activated, a gear icon appears in the upper right-hand corner of the content area.
  2. Select the Gear icongear icon.
  3. Select Remove from group.
You can now make updates to the content in this area without affecting any other content areas or pages of the website.
Tip: While actively editing page content, you can select Undo or Redo in the editor's toolbar, as needed. Any time that you'd like to pause and save your content as you are editing, select Save at the top of the screen.
