Financial institutions can complete
the following steps to turn on offline mode.
A user that is assigned to a group with
the Manage everything - users, messages, settings, and organizations and
organization members permission can turn on offline mode.

In Banno People,
select .

Select Edit message to edit the message that appears to end
users in Banno Online.

Enter the message that you want to appear, and then select
Save.
The message has a 175 character limit. The message can contain basic text and special
characters. HTML, hyperlinks, formatting, and line breaks are not supported.
The message appears at the top of the login, Dashboard, and
Profile screens in Banno Online. By default, the message displays
Some services are offline.

Use the Show message to users toggle to display the message to
end users.
When Show message to users is turned on, Banno still syncs to
the core.

If your bank is experiencing core-related issues, use the Core
offline toggle.
Note: The Core offline toggle is not available for
credit unions. When a credit union is having core-related issues, end users cannot log
in to Banno Online. They cannot log in to Banno Mobile with their user name and
password, but they can log in with their PIN or passkey to see cached data.
When Core offline is turned on, Banno does not sync to core.
Turning on Core offline automatically turns on Show
message to users.
