ACH company information display

Have you or your end users ever gotten into a sticky situation when trying to differentiate between ACH companies in ACH User Limits, simply because key pieces of the company information did not display? Guess what… we have a solution coming soon! We will provide all five bits of ACH company information (if available) to you and the business admins.

New brand protection integrations

We’re excited to announce two new, native integrations with third-party tools built to protect your brand reputation and your end users. The Allure Security and PhishLabs integrations can be enabled for any financial institution that has onboarded with the vendor.

Both of these integrations provide comprehensive brand protection for your financial institution, safeguarding your users against look-alike phishing sites that illegally use your digital assets to trick people into submitting personally identifying information to fraudsters.

Interested in enhancing your brand protection efforts with either integration? First, make sure that you’re contracted and onboarded with either Allure Security* or PhishLabs; you will need to work directly with the third-party vendor, as our Support team does not have access (or information) to help with that separate process. Once you have successfully onboarded with your vendor, simply open a case via the For Clients portal, so we can configure the corresponding Banno integration for your financial institution.

*Great news for Allure Security customers! If you were contracted and onboarded with the vendor before July 1, 2024, then we have already configured and enabled the Banno integration for you!*

🎗️Forget-me-nots

Here are a few things to remember this month.

ACH Positive Pay

As mentioned in the May Statement, ACH Positive Pay is now available for SilverLake banks. This feature empowers business users to easily view and manage ACH exceptions, thereby enhancing transaction security and fraud protection. This feature ensures only authorized payments are processed, providing peace of mind and more control over payment decisions. If you do not have this enabled today, open a case via the For Clients portal to have the entitlement turned on!

Marketing Collateral in the JH Resource Center

Designed to highlight the adoption-driving features that business owners demand, our complimentary Banno Business marketing campaigns are now available for customization on the Jack Henry Resource Center. Additionally, the Resource Center offers Treasury Management (TM) resources, including new collateral for the TM Mobile Experience and Unified Identity Service, to enhance your services. For assistance, contact the Resource Support team at resourcecentersupport@jackhenry.com.

Toolkit corner: Claims in the Identity Token

Some of you out there may already know that authenticated identity information about a user is provided to third-party apps via an Identity Token (a concept from the OpenID Connect technology standard).

Naturally, some of you may have follow-up questions, like these:

  • How do I request a basic Identity Token?
  • How do I add ‘claims’ to the Identity Token?
  • Is it true that I can request different ‘claims’ in the Identity Token versus the UserInfo endpoint?

If you have any of those questions, then our guide on Claims in the Identity Token is for you.

Optional user verification for new businesses

We have an exciting new feature for our credit union business customers! In an effort to help reduce the risk of a bad actor making it through the enrollment process, we’ve created a new optional configuration. When enabled, the first administrator of a business will be required to verify their identity using known contact information prior to completing the enrollment process.
