FDIC Delays Compliance Date for Display Updates
The FDIC has delayed the compliance date for “requirements related to the display of the FDIC’s official sign on insured depository institutions’ (IDIs) digital channels” to March 1, 2026 and “plans to use the additional time to propose adjustments to the regulation,” as stated in the FDIC Board of Directors Approves Delay of Compliance Date For Certain Provisions in Sign and Advertising Rule press release.
Given the FDIC’s plan to propose additional adjustments to the regulations, we will not be releasing any of the related display updates until further guidance is provided – at which point we will communicate roll out plans here in the Statement.
Digital Terms of Use for Business
Your authorized administrators now have the option, in Banno People™, to integrate your custom Digital Terms of Use for Business, so your Banno Business users can then easily view and accept these terms across Android, iOS, and Online platforms.
Unified Identity Service: Resetting Passwords
As announced last month, we’re working on enhancements to the password reset experience for end users with Unified Identity Service. Soon, whether users initiate a password reset in Banno Online or Treasury Management, upon completion, they will see a success message instructing them to return to their login screen, where they can enter their new credentials to open the app they initially intended to open.
Barring any unexpected hiccups, we anticipate releasing the improved UX by the end of April.
