Conceptual Current Logo Rebuild Case Study

Jade Bank

Note: This is a conceptual project for a fictional financial institution created as an example of what our process can look like.

Project goals

Jade Bank wanted to keep their current brand identity, but didn’t have any digital assets. After listening to their goals for the project, we put together a plan to set them up for success.

Vectorize Elements

While Jade Bank liked their current brand identity, we needed to make it usable in digital formats by vectorizing their logo and cleaning up the distorted elements.

Build Logo Variations

It was important to Jade Bank that their brandmark worked well across different contexts and in all mediums, both web and print. We would need to build a library of options for them to use when creating assets and materials.

Provide File Format System

In order for Jade Bank’s team to really take advantage of their new digital brand assets they would need a complete library of file formats to use.

vectorizing elements

To kickoff the project Jade Bank sent us a scanned version of their logo. Using this as a starting place, along with their brand color guidelines, we rebuilt the logo into a clean digital brandmark.

Grant County Bank Logo

building logo variations

To ensure Jade Bank’s logo would work well in any scenario, we put together a full library of options to choose from – different layouts, colorways, combinations of wordmarks and symbols – all while adhering to their brand identity.

delivering necessary file formats

The final step to get Jade Bank up and running with their new digitized assets was to provide them with all the file formats they would need. We put together a complete system for them, with everything from editable vector files to ready-to-use PNGs, JPGs, and more.
